Guided by compassion, equity and inclusion, the New Prague Community Action Network (NPCAN) is a nonpartisan non-profit organization dedicated to making an impact in our community. We exist to strengthen community ties and to help everyone in our community feel valued and included. We aim to learn from one another through sharing our stories and viewpoints. We have hosted speakers, forums, and Community Conversations on topics ranging from climate change, healthcare, LGBTQ issues, homelessness, immigration and refugees, solar panels and electric cars, sustainable landscaping, getting money out of politics, and more. Each year, we bring our community together for our One Book, One New Prague event. Donations to NPCAN are used to help bring authors and speakers to our community, and to help with needs such as the Random Acts of Kindness fund for area students in need.
