Help out Compass Learning Center

We hope everyone will be able to join us Thursday, Dec. 14, from 6-7:30 at Holy Trinity to celebrate a remarkable year. We have so much to be proud of — and we have so many good things to look forward to next year. Thanks for being a part of it!

And while we have you in the holiday spirit, we have another group that could use a little support. It was brought to our attention that the school’s Compass Learning Center, which serves students who do better in an alternative environment, is in need of gifts/donations for their annual holiday celebration. The deadline for donations is Dec. 20; their holiday celebration is the 21st. Here’s what’s on their Christmas list:

— Winter gear-hats, gloves, scarves
— Coats- new or gently used
— PJs, socks, hoodies, slippers
— Blankets
— Toiletries-shampoo, conditioner, body wash, lotion
— Small gift cards-gas, restaurants, Target, etc
— Snacks, candy, other treats
— Earbuds or other small electronic accessories
— Cash — they’ll do the shopping!
— Turkeys, hams, holiday meal fixings

They have more males than females. All sizes are helpful, but some of the needier boys are XL or larger. No amount is too small!

If you have items to donate, you can bring them to our celebration, get them to the high school in care of Lexie Lammers, or contact Nicole Hvidsten. We’ll find a way to make it happen.

Thanks all for your unwavering support, both for NPCAN and also the community. Together we really can make a difference!
